Anthony Muiru, MD

Dr. Anthony Muiru is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Nephrology at UCSF. He did his undergraduate training at UC Berkeley, medical school at Harvard, residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and MPH at Harvard Chan School of Public Health. He is interested in improving our understanding of determinants of kidney disease and thus inform the development of effective strategies that mitigate the risk of kidney disease and its long-term adverse outcomes, particularly among disadvantaged populations worldwide.
