Delphine Tuot, MDCM, MAS

Dr. Tuot is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco’s Division of Nephrology at the San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH). Her research interests include chronic kidney disease, provider-patient communication and implementation science. Dr. Tuot's current work focuses on the development, implementation, and evaluation of interventions that increase patient self-management of kidney disease as well as health system changes that improve kidney disease management, particularly in safety-net settings. She is the Director of the SFGH eReferral program and the co-Director of the UCSF Center for Innovation in Access and Quality. She is a graduate of Stanford University, McGill University Faculty of Medicine and the University of California San Francisco internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship programs.

Dr. Tuot's work has been funded by the NIH, American Kidney Fund, Blue Shield of California Foundation, and California Healthcare Foundation.
