Transforming the Detection of Kidney Disease

The article focuses on the use of Cystatin C to detect early kidney function decline in elderly patients and patients with HIV. The article also highlights the need to find additional biomarkers, especially those detectable though blood and urine test, for detection of structural kidney deterioration among healthy elderly adults.
