Jesse Ikeme is an Assistant Professor in the Deparment of Medicine, Division of Nephrology at UCSF. He did a research year with KHRC in 2017 during Medical School and was a Nephrology Fellow in the group from 2022-2024. Prior to KHRC, he completed a longitudinal clerkship with Dr. Peralta at the UCSF Nephrology clinic at Parnassus. It was there that he was first introduced to the fascinating field of Nephrology and the diverse population of patients affected by kidney disease. He is currently studying renal function decline in the SPS3 stroke prevention trial and looking forward to learning more about CKD, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.
