Kristienne Edrosolan

Kristienne Edrosolan is a medical student at UCSF. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles where she studied Human Biology and Society, and Global Health. At UCSF, she is a part of the Program in Medical Education for the Urban Underserved, a 5-year track which provides additional training in community research, advocacy, and leadership skills. She is interested in working towards health equity for vulnerable populations such as people experiencing housing insecurity. She was drawn towards many aspects of kidney research including the potential for new diagnostic tools to reduce huge personal and societal burden of kidney disease through prevention and early detection.
