Meyeon Park, MD, MAS

Dr. Park is a kidney specialist at the UCSF Medical Center at the Nephrology, Hypertension and Metabolism Practice at Parnassus and an Assistant Professor at UCSF School of Medicine. Her research focuses on the early diagnosis of kidney hypoxia, injury, and disease and the influence of cardiovascular disease on kidney disease onset and progression. Dr. Park has published multiple papers on the link between cardiac disease and kidney function, using data from the Heart and Soul Study, the Chronic Renal Insufficiency Cohort (CRIC), and the Multi-ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA). She is currently expanding her research investigations into sub-groups of the chronic kidney disease population, including kidney transplant recipients and polycystic kidney disease.
